Bottle & Board`s annual Sausage-roll bake-off competition 21st December 2025.

The time has come for Bottle & Board`s, bold and brave bakers, to dust off their pinnies and light their ovens.

Sunday the 21st of December will see Bottle & Board, in conjunction with our sponsor, specialist beer wholesaler, James Clay, hosting Peterborough`s original Sausage-roll bake-off competition.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor in providing, the all important, liquid element of first, second and third prizes, this year we have been able to transfer funding and resources to the creation of a superb trophy, and what a trophy it is!

Last Sunday Gina was carrying out some consultancy work at London`s Borough Market, she took some time out to walk across London Bridge, into the city, and a secure bank vault where the solid gold colour trophy lay in storage. After a short, yet thrilling helicopter ride back to the city of Peterborough, we are now in the position to offer a first glimpse of what everyone is striving to win.

If anyone thinking of entering the competition, needs any hints or tips to help them secure victory, then a brief trawl through previous posts may well offer some insight.

PLEASE NOTE: Entries should be handed in to Eddie at the shop between the hours of 13.00-15.00. Judging shall commence at 16.00.
