The second, Bottle & Board, Festive sausage roll Bake-off will take place at the shop on Sunday the 15th of December 2024.
The rules are very simple. Please present, not less than eight sausage rolls to Eddie, at the shop, on Sunday between the hours of 13.00 & 15.00*. Bring your entries in whatever container best suits you. Eddie will transfer your precious cargo to a serving board, as illustrated below. (alas! It will not be an elegant, round trencher, such as features in B&B`s logo.) at this point you will be issued with a raffle ticket which will identify your particular, sausage and pastry parcel. This is important, as the competition will be judged blind and the winners will be announced by number. DO NOT LOSE YOUR NUMBER!
There are only three bullet points that contestants REALLY need to remember:
A minimum of 8 Sausage rolls suitable for a Yuletide party or Boxing day buffet should be presented for judging. (any less, and your entry will lose points!)
You MUST deliver your entry between the hours of 13.00 & 15.00.
Any sausagemeat filling, and any type of pastry are acceptable.
