New Year. Free Beer! Yes really!

Featuring a series of ongoing events to help get the new year off with a bang!

Bottle & Board is pleased to announce a new feature. Our news page/blog, will now include a question at the end of each bulletin. The first person to correctly answer the question in the comments section, will be entitled to claim a free drink at the shop. (as always T&C`s will apply.)

The good news is that every so often, the answer to the question will appear, hidden in plain sight within the text of the post. The great news is that to help get things off to a flying start, this will DEFINITELY be the case in today`s edition of `Friday is Pie day.`

Simply read the article, answer the question in the comments section, and if you are first past the post you can begin the New Year, with a FREE BEER!

More great stuff: additional opening hours.

We will be trialing new opening hours during January & February. If the trial proves to be a success then the new hours will remain in place, it really is up to you Chums. This will be a case of `use it or lose it!`

2026 extra drinking time.

Tuesday. 16.00 until 22.00.

Thursday. 12.00 until 22.00.

Other stuff! (WIP, Idea`s in development, thinking out loud etc, etc.)

Thursday Club. Thursday Club was always guaranteed to throw up some lively debate. Hopefully it will rise like a phoenix from the ashes in it`s new Wednesday evening slot hosted by Gina.

As already mentioned, FREE BEER Friday will be launched later today. Good-Luck to everyone attempting to answer the question.

Smoked Salmon Sunday`s!

This idea is barely in the R&D stage, however, we are able to confirm that it will involve salmon smoked using a Woodston cure, produced in what is currently, Peterborough`s only smokehouse. Oh! and it will take place on a Sunday. Salmon, sourdough, lemons, capers and FGBP will probably all be involved. (And it makes sense to throw a beer matching into the mix.)

FREE BEER Friday Terms & Conditions.

The winner can claim a single drink up to the value of £10. Draught products will be offered according to existing restrictions. This means that the largest pour available on some products will be a half pint.
